Proggio’s Employee Spotlight: Lior
Let’s get to know Proggio’s Customer Success Manager – Lior Ganot
A little bit about Lior:
Being the first generation born in Israel, I had the privilege of interacting with family members from abroad in different languages, from different cultures. My curiosity about people and ability to find common ground for communication have always been an integral part of who I am. Fortunately, every day I get to learn something new from everyone I meet, mostly from my daughter Nili.
Work stuff
1. What do you love most about your role at Proggio?
My relationships with brilliant customers and colleagues. Being trusted by and supporting both, as I have their best interest at heart. This constantly enables me to become a better CMS and team member. The ability to exchange knowledge inside and out, gain a deeper understanding of the PPM world from customers (methods and needs), and collaborate around it. I love celebrating customers’ achievements of business objectives and all “Aha” moments, as part of their Proggio’s journey!
2. What advice do you have for someone also interested in that type of position?
Find a product you believe in, this will help YOU to help others genuinely.
3. What are your biggest accomplishments so far at Proggio?
Incorporate laughter and fun into all communications 🙂
Fun Stuff
4. What was your favorite toy as a kid?
Beads for jewelry making. The beads were laid out by color and I spent hours making bracelets, necklaces and earrings. I had all kinds of special beads that I had to go somewhere far to buy them. It was an expensive hobby and forced my family members to wear everything I made. I never tried to sell anything, it was totally for my own fun. I did make a silver and turquoise bracelet that my Grandmother loved that she actually enjoyed wearing.
5. Would you rather have no phone access for a year or no car access??
No phone. (Yes I am sure!)
6. What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled to and why?
Myanmar. Not easy to travel inland but the history, reality and culture are unique. Beautiful people and amazing food!
7. Do you have any hidden talents?
Imitations. There isn’t anyone specific. But…if there is a strange voice, like cartoons – I can imitate those. And, if something inspires me – a voice, body movement, a behavior, I can do those too. I got this hidden talent from my Dad.
8. If you could be a fly on the wall, who would you want to listen in on?
My daughter of course! And Richard Branson. Why Richard Branson? Well – he is full of humor and in my opinion doesn’t seem to take things so seriously. I first learned about him when I was a student. I had to pick someone to be the subject of a short presentation. I read about him and thought he was a genius – he took humor to a new level – smart and brave. I read that he made some big business mistakes along the way – but found the motivation to keep going and exploring. I was inspired by him and his story. Now there is a documentary about him that shows another side of him – a different image where you see his vulnerability. He started with nothing – just a record store and now look at him.
9. If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be?
White socks or fresh cut fruits, you choose, I will be happy with either.
10. What’s at the top of your bucket list?
Skydiving! I can’t believe I still haven’t done it. I just haven’t found the opportunity. But I am a sucker for the extreme – bungee jumping, parasailing, roller coasters, etc. I love to go anywhere high – just obsessed with it. So skydiving is a natural progression.
