Let’s get to know one of our Proggio peeps and awesome CSM – Michal Ben-Dror

A little bit about Michal:

After over 10 years abroad, working in and experiencing many countries and cultures, I have returned to Israel to be closer to my family and friends. The travel bug is still in me, but for now, I am happy to settle down a little and spend time with my loved ones.

Work stuff

1. What do you love most about your role at Proggio?

There are two things I really like here – the first one is the power to influence and improve customer’s daily routine and work habits. And the second is the great collaboration among Proggio team members.

2. What advice do you have for someone also interested in that type of position?

Come with an open and flexible mind and be ready to quickly learn and adopt! When you speak to customers and each one will have a different use case, you’ll need the ability to quickly get a grasp of what they need. Additionally, if you don’t have Project Management background, it is important to quickly understand the main framework of a Project Manager.

3. What’s your biggest accomplishment so far at Proggio?

Pushing the Product and R&D teams to develop a few features that I knew would help my customers.

Fun Stuff

4. How would you describe your job and its responsibilities to small children?

I am in the practice of teaching other people the rules of a game they want to play. In this case it is teaching Project Managers how to use an application that makes their day-to-day easier and more efficient.

5. If you could be in a movie, what would it be?

Fried Green Tomatoes – the women in the movie were such strong characters.

6. If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be?

Salad, for sure!

7. What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled to and why?

Fiji Islands. It was the most peaceful, beautiful, raw and authentic place I’ve ever seen.

8. At which store would you like to max-out your credit card?

Uniqlo – it’s a family thing! We actually call it “The Museum of Uniqlo” instead of a store. That’s how much we love it.

9. One piece of advice you’d give your younger self?

Dare more!

10. What is your biggest guilty pleasure and why?

Sour candy. I know how bad it is for me, and how bad I feel after eating them, but if there is a bag at home – it won’t last for long!

11. No phone access for a year or no car access.

No car access.

12. If you could quickly and easily learn any new skill, what would it be?

Krav Maga / Self-defense.

I have been thinking about this for a long time now and I know it will give me that extra confidence in some awkward situations.
